This Mom Got An Angry Letter From Her 4-Year-Old’s School… What It Said? WOW!

What would you do if a teacher reprimanded you for the lunch you prepared for your child?

That’s exactly what happened to Leeza Pearson, who received a note from her 4-year-old Natalee Pearson’s school criticizing the Oreo cookies found in her lunchbox.

"Dear Parents, It is very important that all students have a nutritious lunch. This is a public school setting and all children are required to have a fruit, a vegetable, and a healthy snack from home, along with milk,” read the note from the Children's Academy in Aurora, CO. “Lunchables, chips, fruit snacks, and peanut butter are not considered to be a healthy snack. This is a very important part of our program and we need everyone's participation."

Similarly to Mike Rossi, who fired back after his children’s school in Pennsylvania criticized him for taking a family trip when class was in session, Pearson wasn’t happy.

“They don't provide lunch for my daughter. I provide lunch,” she said. “It's between me and the doctor on what's healthy for her.”

What Pearson says about the school at the 1:10 mark may also surprise many parents.

With the rise of childhood obesity, there’s been a kick to promote healthy eating in schools nationwide. But notes like these aren’t common protocol, according to ABC's Denver affiliate.
