Some of Kirstie Alley's belongings are being put up in an estate sale that's been set up by her kids. Just a year after the actress' death at the age of 71, her two children decided to find a new home for a selection of some of her valuable belongings.
“Our mom collected so many fun and unique things over her incredible life," her kids, True Parker and Lillie Parker said in a statement to People. "We want to share some of them with others in the hopes of spreading her love of decorating."
The sale, which is being called "Property from The Collection of The Late Kirstie Alley," is being organized by Those Two Girls Estate Sales. It is going to happen in three parts on the online bidding platform Live Auctioneers, where interested buyers can register to participate.
The first part is set to launch on December 21, 2023. It'll run until January 27, 2024. The items being sold will include some of Kirstie's household furnishings and other pieces from her homes in Maine, California, and Clearwater, Florida.

The first part of the sale will focus on French antiques, lamps, bronze statues, clocks, upholstered chairs, Rococo gilt wood mirrors, and Hollywood Regency decor. A representative of the late actress says that the pieces will reflect "Kirstie's personal 'I don't give a [expletive] style." The star was an interior designer before becoming an actress.
She died on December 5, 2022, after a battle with cancer. Her children posted the news to her social media account the same day.
"To all our friends, far and wide around the world… We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered," the caption started. "She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead."
"As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother," it continued. "We are grateful to the incredible team of doctors and nurses at the Moffitt Cancer Center for their care. Our mother’s zest and passion for life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her eternal joy of creating, were unparalleled and leave us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did. We thank you for your love and prayers and ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time. With love always, True and Lillie Parker."
The second part of the sale is set to be open for bidding January 22, 2024, through February 4, 2024. Items included will be some of Kirstie's "favorite garden decor and salvage items," as shared by her representative, such as statues, cast iron planters, a pre-Columbian artifact, salvaged copper dormers, a Victorian bird cage, and more.
The final part of the sale will be from March 18, 2024 to April 7, 2024. It will focus on the actress' fashion archive, including pieces from designers such as Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Fendi, Alexander McQueen, and more.
