Look Closer…You Probably Can’t Spot This Little Girl’s Secret!!

Loving mother and photogerapher Holly Spring created a series of whimsical portraits designed to show her daughter that she “can live a life without obstacles."

The pictures celebrate her five-year-old daughter Violet, whose unexpected health problems left her without a fully-formed left hand. Spring captured Violet in the breathtaking images seen below, showing that there is no limit to her daughter, or her own, creative possibilities.

Holly Spring wanted to show the world through her daughter's eyes - as a place full of magic and possibility!

Holly Spring created a series of whimsical portraits designed to show her daughter, who was born without an arm, that she “can live a life without obstacles."

Like most little girls, Violet has no problem with playing dress-up for the photos.

She loves living in a fairy-tale world with her mom - if only for a moment.

Violet is her mom's little muse.

Most of the photos are composites, with Spring taking a picture of Violet and digitally combining it with other images.

Here, the unique pint-sized model strikes a dramatic pose.

When Violet was 2, she asked, “Mummy, when is my hand going to grow?" and Spring said it broke her heart to have to tell her daughter it would never develop.

Precocious Violet is learning to adjust and overcoming her health problems in stride.

Spring hopes these photos inspire her daughter as she grows up.
