Dog The Bounty Hunter’s Daughter, Lyssa Chapman, Has Been Arrested for Harassment

There's been a lot going on in Duane "Dog" Chapman's life this week. TV's beloved bounty hunter shocked fans with reports that he was engaged to the assistant to his late wife, Beth Chapman. Dog seemed to propose to Moon Angell, who was the maid of honor at his and Beth's wedding, on an episode of The Dr. Oz Show. Sources close to Dog say that he was emotional during the shooting of the show. The episode, which will air February 3, does show a proposal, but it isn't necessarily legitimate.

While wedding bells aren't ringing, all signs point to the fact that Dog and Moon are an actual item. This is to the complete dismay of two of Dog's daughters — 32-year-old Lyssa and 26-year-old Cecily. Both women have taken to social media to speak out against the relationship between Dog and Moon. In the midst of this family feud, Lyssa has been arrested for harassment and resisting arrest.

There's been so much going on in Dog the Bounty Hunter's world, it's hard to catch up. It all began in December, when Dog's 32-year-old daughter Lyssa and his rumored girlfriend Moon Angell went at it on Twitter. Lyssa slammed Moon for going after Dog while he was still mourning his late wife, Beth Chapman.

A back-and-forth between the women ensued. Lyssa went on to accuse Moon of also having pursued her brother previously. Moon fired back, calling Lyssa "Lil Miss TMZ Rat." It's clear the women have strong feelings about one another.

At the beginning of January, Dog posted a selfie with Moon. Moon was a close friend and assistant to his late wife, Beth. She even served as Beth's maid of honor when Beth married Dog. In a since-deleted comment, Lyssa responded to the pictures with vomiting emojis.

The next day, she took to Twitter to air her frustrations about the relationship between Dog and Moon.

"If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your stepmom died what would you do? If you went to your mother's closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho," one tweet read.

"My dad is a GROWN [expletive] MAN. His money. His dynasty. But you can guarantee that my name is not going down in history as a person who supported this," she continued in another tweet. Lyssa's not alone in those feelings.

Agreeing with Lyssa is her sister, Cecily. Cecily also took to Twitter to share her take on the relationship between Dog and Moon. In her tweet, she also slammed Moon for what she believes to be inappropriate behavior.

Around that time, Dog shared a comment about Moon with Radar Online. "She has just been so good to me," he said of Moon.

"I’ll get really emotional and find myself getting into a dark hole and she will tell me to suck it up. So it’s been good having her by my side."

Dog's feelings for Moon only seem to have intensified since. In an episode of The Dr. Oz Show that was reportedly taped last week and will air on February 3, Dog appears with Moon. At one point, he proposes to her.

TMZ has since said that the proposal is not the real deal. It's just Dog getting caught up in what seems to be a very emotional moment. At the time of the taping, however, people believed it to be the real thing.

Since then, things appear to have taken a turn for the worse. Lyssa was arrested on Thursday night in Honolulu, TMZ reports, for harassment and resisting arrest. She was quickly bailed out for $600. Shortly before, she tweeted about "keeping it classy."

There's no word as to who Lyssa's altercation was with. Many are speculating that she is continuing to show her displeasure at Dog and Moon's relationship. It's clear that the relationship is putting strains on the family in more ways than one.
