Dominic Ehrler gets plenty of stares when he goes for walks around Echo Park, California. That's because he has found an unlikely companion: a goose named Maria!
The pair first "met" when Maria started following Ehrler every time he'd come to the park, even though he wasn't feeding her or trying to get her attention. After that initial contact, she continued to return to his side, doting on him when he'd arrive to the park. Now inseparable pair stroll around the lake and sit on park benches together. Then, when Ehrler would get ready to leave on his motorcycle, Maria would fly alongside him. This loyal, affectionate and loving bird proves that love has no bounds.
