This Mom Built a Tiny Tree House For Her Kids. The Results? She Must Be A Superhero.

Growing up, it seems like there's nothing our moms can't do. Our parents are endless fountains of knowledge who seem to have magical powers like making chicken noodle soups that cure colds, or being able to kiss the pain of "boo-boos" away.

Even now, as a grown man, I will call my mom at random times of the day to get her opinion on things. The most recent was to get her advice on how to clean out a kitchen sink drain safely. (Her answer? Baking soda and vinegar!)

My mother is a pretty incredible woman, but she's never been into doing construction or using power tools. That's why we both respect a woman who does.

Recently, Reddit user tylerfulltilt uploaded some photos of his wife and the incredible job she did building a tree house for their young boys.

Any mom knows that being a mother is a full-time job with lots to juggle, so any mom who finds the time to also build an entire tree house? That's definitely a super-mom.

Please SHARE if you believe moms should get recognition for all the great things they do!

Step one involved inserting these bolts into the tree.

Next, she hung two main beams measuring 2 inches by 6 inches and hung those with lag bolts.

She used more of the same size beams to build the base of the fort. The tree's shape determined the fort's shape as well.

With the foundation in place, she used thinner decking boards for the flooring.

She used a jigsaw to clean up the sides.

One of her sons also helped...by playing with the scraps.

She also added posts and conduit rails for safety.

300 feet of manila rope turned out to be the perfect amount for the border.

Her sons maybe didn't know it at the time, but their mother was making them something they'll remember forever.

The final touch was adding a ladder.

Future plans include some netting and a fireman's pole!

Let's hope these kids know they have a super-mom!
