Mom Says She Is ‘100% Allowed To’ After Daughter Tells Her Classmates Santa Isn’t Real

A little girl just broke some tough news to some of her classmates. And it couldn't have come at a worse time of year!

A mom on TikTok shared a now-viral video of her daughter revealing that she told her classmates there is no Santa.

Anali Perez uploaded the video of her daughter, Elliana, explaining what she did after getting a text from the teacher.

In the video, which is really fairly innocent, Elliana tells her mom why she did what she did: “Because they thought that Santa was real. And I said, ‘No he is not real.’”

But her older brother, Jax, had some choice words. "Now those kids are going to go home and have the worst Christmas ever," he tells his little sis.

Elliana had an adorable response to that. "Today’s not Christmas," she clapped back.

Of course, parents weighed in, with some supporting the little girl's right to tell her classmates the truth about Santa, and others feeling for the kids who weren't ready to find out. Either way, it's the talk of the town, with over 5 million views and over 400,000 likes.

@anali_1110 **** Thoughts on Santa? How do you break it to your kids when they find out it’s a lie and no longer magical? I honestly don’t care either way HOWEVER, be prepared to explain yourself knowing your kids will be around other kids who are not believers ‍ I tell my kids to not ruin it for others but I’m also not going to be mad when they state facts. ***Follow me on my Instagram for more content*** #santaisntreal #santaisntcoming #santaisntrealkids #santaornah #whoissanta #santaorgrinch #christmasreels #santareel ♬ original sound - analiperez17
