All moms know what the days after giving birth are like. They know that they won't be feeling the most glamorous during this time. Although a body that has just given life is a beautiful thing, many people are not aware of what happens post-birth.
One mom dared to post a photo on the internet, letting everyone know that it's not uncommon for new moms to use diapers after giving birth.
Most of us were most likely surprised and shocked by the practice, but this is a familiar feeling and sight to moms everywhere.
Their bodies also seem to be under scrutiny just months after their baby comes into the world.
While it seems that their bodies are not expected to bounce back so soon, they are also not encouraged to show too much skin. We've heard of many moms' stories of how complete strangers have criticized them for revealing their figures on the beach or by the pool — and we think this is completely absurd!
Lexi Sinclair is just another mom who was told that her "bikini body" was making people by the pool uncomfortable, especially the men, because they did not consider it "attractive."
Instead of covering up, the mom had a stellar response to the stranger, which she posted on Facebook. Her scathing words may just be what every mom needs to hear: the bodies of mothers are amazing, beautiful life-giving forms. They are nothing to be ashamed of, regardless of how they look!

"So today, I took my 4-month-old son to the pool. While putting Christian's pool hat on, a woman (maybe mid-50s) comes up and makes conversation with me about Christian, asking me his age, how much he weighs, how he sleeps, etc."

"She then proceeded to tell me that the men at the pool would feel more comfortable if I was in a one-piece swimsuit because a bikini isn't appropriate for a mother, especially one who's 'still recovering.'"

"Anyone who knows me knows I had a few words for this crazy, ballsy woman. "

"But instead, I just smiled, kissed my son, and told her, 'I'm proud of my body. In just one year, I've gained 50 lbs. and lost 37. I've grown a human and given birth to a beautiful miracle. My body provided food for my child.'"

"'So, no, my body might not be the best sight for other men to see. My stretch marks and tummy pudge might not be sexy.'"

"'But they're proof that I've done something amazing, and I have a man that loves me and finds me even sexier and more beautiful now. To be honest, I don't give a tiny rat's a** what other men, or a prissy twit like you think. Have a nice day though.'"
