What to Know
There’s really nothing that Donald Trump can take credit for these days that any of his supporters will call him out on. Now, he can add taking credit for some of the success of Apple with former CEO Tim Cook at its helm. In a Truth Social post that was shared on X (formerly Twitter), Trump shares just how much he allegedly helped Cook over the years and how important it was, apparently, for the Apple executive to get Trump’s help and support. Sure, Jan.
But, like I said, it’s hard to get any of the MAGA enthusiasts out there to disagree with Trump’s alleged influence over, well, whatever he posts about on social media. And, after Trump made those claims in a lengthy and wordy post, as only he can do at all hours of the day and night, people call him out for being both “narcissistic” and “trashy.”
He made some bold claims about Apple’s former CEO.

In the post shared on X after he posted it on Truth Social, Trump wrote that he had “always been a big fan of Tim Cook” and even Steve Jobs. But, he added, Cook did a better job of running the company and seeing it grow, and apparently, Trump was there every step of the way for the former Apple CEO.
“For me it began with a phone call from Tim at the beginning of my first term,” Trump wrote. “He had a fairly large problem that only I, as president, could fix. Most people would have paid millions of dollars to a consultant, who probably would not have known, but who would say that he knew me well. The fees would be paid but the job would not have gotten done. When I got the call, I said, wow, it’s Tim Apple (Cook!) calling, how big is that? I was very impressed with myself to have the head of Apple calling to ‘kiss my ass.'”
Trump continued his post, claiming that Cook presented his problem to Trump and that Trump fixed it using his intelligence and his position as the president.
“That was the beginning of a long and very nice relationship,” he wrote. “During my five years as president, Tim would call me, but never too much, and I would help him where l could. Years later, after 3 or 4 BIG HELPS, I started to say to people, anyone who would listen, that this guy is an amazing manager and leader. He makes these calls to me, help him out (but not always, because he will, on occasion, be too aggressive in his ask!), and he gets the job done.
Trump was called a narcissist for his Truth Social post.
After a screenshot of that post was shared on X, other users responded to it to call out Trump for his behavior, his choice of words, and his claims that he had such a heavy hand in helping Cook as the CEO of Apple. Maybe he called Trump once or even twice, but to consider that Cook called Trump often for help as he ran Apple is just a wildly random and bold claim from Trump. But no one is surprised, exactly.
“Narcissistic sociopathic psychopath always makes everything about himself,” someone commented on X. “Tim Apple, the moron can’t even remember a name, and we are not speaking of Joe Schmo down the street.”
“It’s just so f–king weird to read this s–t and realize he actually believes what he’s saying,” another user wrote. “He’s truly damaged.”
Another person added, “In all my years, I’ve never seen a president act so unprofessionally with everyone. This is truly embarrassing!”
Someone else called out Trump’s history as a businessman. They wrote, “With your business and personal record, seven bankruptcies and 34 felony convictions and on the verge of bankrupting the country and people and enriching yourself and family and friends and constant insider trading and hiding behind Epstein files in losing war, qualified advisor.”
Trump’s claims are getting out of hand.

It might have verged on funny at first when Trump began to make claims about poll numbers, how many people love him, and the pull he has around the world. But, somewhere along the way, it got a little too real and those claims became detrimental to the United States as a whole. Fun, right? Now, with his claims about Apple and Cook, people are vocal about how often Trump makes claims about, well, anything he wants.
“I couldn’t get past the first few lines,” someone wrote on X. “One doesn’t have to read much of anything he says but still know what he said — each story trying to out-sensationalize the previous. By the end of his term, he’ll be the entity that caused the Big Bang.”
