Mothers-in-law can be invasive at moments — most often invasive in a way that’s somewhat helpful and you can tell they mean well. Then there are others who choose to be invasive because they can’t bear to be too far away from their kids.
Sometimes there are mothers-in-law who do things that seem almost unreal. OhMyMag UK shared a story about a mother-in-law who crossed a line and continued to cross that line. A woman was tired of her mother-in-law insisting that she and her husband have children.
During a family dinner, the mother-in-law told her daughter-in-law that she shouldn’t be drinking beer, in case she was pregnant, which no person should be told unless they are actually pregnant.
That was the final straw for the daughter-in-law, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. Without hesitation, she told the mother-in-law that her husband had gotten a vasectomy, so there was zero chance that she could be pregnant.
The mother-in-law was so offended that the family dinner was over immediately. After that awkward conversation, the mother-in-law kept continuously calling them attempting to convince them to have children.
At some point, the couple told her that she was going too far with this. That’s when the mother-in-law attempted to take charge of the situation herself.
With the couple's request for her to stop contacting them and invading their privacy, the mom, in turn, asked them to pay her back the money she spent on their wedding. Her reason? “They were unworthy of being a part of the family.”

The couple hung up the phone, and they haven’t spoken to her since. At the end of the video, a question is asked: “Was the mother-in-law in the right or totally out of line?” I think we all know the answer to this question, but I will let you decide for yourself what to think.
I will throw my opinion out there, and I do think that the mother-in-law was completely out of line. If your children choose not to have children, you should give them your support 110%!
