Whenever the holidays roll around, nurses in the NICU always make sure to dress the NICU babies in adorable costumes — turkeys for Thanksgiving, Santa Claus for Christmas, and cute top hats and gold onesies for New Year’s Eve. This tradition brings a lot of joy to many people!
The NICU staff at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville are fans of dressing up their NICU babies, but their costumes are not holiday-themed like we are used to seeing. Instead of dressing up their babies as Santa, they dressed them up in popular Taylor Swift costumes.
The video that the nurses created of all the looks features 10 Taylor-inspired costumes. They knew that all the babies would look adorable, but what they didn’t expect was how popular their video would become.
The first baby they show in the video is wearing a gold dress and even a small blond wig! Next to her is a picture of Taylor Swift’s album Fearless. The next baby is so cute and is making a little face during her photo shoot. She is wearing a green skirt and black top along with a shorter blond wig! She is channeling Taylor’s T.S. 1989 album.
The next baby’s costume is my favorite out of all of them. She is giving us early Taylor Swift vibes! She is wearing a blue dress, a long blond wig, and a felt guitar. Next to her is a picture of one of Taylor’s first albums.

There’s even a baby wearing a hat, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a T-shirt that says, “Not a lot going on at the moment.” Of course, to complete the look, she is also wearing a cute blond wig with her hat.
The nurses didn’t want to leave out Taylor’s good friend Ed Sheeran, so they made a costume just for him. This chubby baby is almost identical to Ed, wearing a red wig, black T-shirt, jeans, and even fake tattoo sleeves! This is almost too much for my heart to handle! The nurses said, “Don’t Blame Me” if this is too cute to “Shake It Off!”
