If you were fascinated by the mom known as "Octomom," then you're not alone. But it's been a while since we've heard from Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom.
However, the famous mom, who actually has 14 kids in total, just posted a back-to-school shot of her eight youngest children that has us saying, "Oh my! Time flies."
The images shows Nadya's octuplets heading off to start their eighth grade year. It's hard to believe they are already so grown up.
The 47-year-old mom shared a photo on Instagram of Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jonah, Makai, Josiah, and Jeremiah (the octuplets) on their first day of eighth grade. "Be proud of yourselves kids for being kind, respectful, and helpful to all your fellow peers, teachers and staff," she wrote as a message to her kids.
"I love you," she continued, along with a red heart emoji. Nadya also wrote that the older siblings didn't want her sharing photos of them, which is why she only posted an image of the eight youngest. "I respect their choice, so should you," she wrote, seemingly to critics.
In case you forgot, Nadya became infamous back in 2009 when she gave birth to octuplets. She was already mom to six children: Ameerah, Calyssa, Elijah, Jonah, Joshua, and Aidan. Many people felt that her IVF doctor, Michael Kamrava, was irresponsible in implanting so many embryos into Nadya. In fact, he lost his medical license as a result.
Kamrava implanted 12 embryos into Suleman, with eight of them resulting in live births. At the time, Nadya was a single, unemployed mother of six kids.
It had to have been tough raising all of those kids on her own. These days, Nadya seems grateful that the kids are growing. She just celebrated her youngest kids becoming teenagers in a post.
"You are all growing into some of the most kind, humble, grateful and loving human beings I have ever known," she wrote. "Each of you possess rare and unique characteristics, and are unlike any other child of your age, particularly in our society today."
"You are not followers of this shallow world, but of a God that created and loves you unconditionally," she continued. "I do not know what I could possibly have done to deserve being blessed so bountifully.
"I love you ❤️."
