Pink's daughter Willow has a new passion. According to proud dad Carey Hart, she's absolutely fallen in love with musical theater.
Carey posted on Instagram about his daughter's newfound joy in a series of photos of Willow performing in shows.
One displays Carey and Willow hugging in the audience. He raved, “I'm so proud of the lil woman that Willow is becoming!!! She has been bitten by the theater bug, and she is killing it!!!"
According to the post, Willow performed in a couple of shows this summer. She donned poodle skirts in the classic musical Grease. She cheered for the Wildcats of East High in High School Musical.
Seeing Willow perform onstage got dad Carey thinking about the passage of time. He admitted, “It seriously rattled me when seeing her on the stage and how she is getting older .” Kids do grow up so fast.
It is evident from his post that Carey loves being a father. He closes it with, “I love you munchin, and so proud of you.” Pink and Carey share two children. Daughter Willow is 11, and son Jameson is 5.
Pink and Carey first met in 2001 at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia. They were married in 2006 in Costa Rica. They separated in 2008 but reconciled in 2010. Willow was born in 2011 and Jameson in 2016.
This is not the first time Willow has sung and performed. She is featured in her mom’s song "Cover Me in Sunshine." She also appeared in the music video for it. Willow and Pink performed the song live at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Time will tell what is next for this young musical-theater-loving performer.
