Tania Villanueva wasn't sure if she would be able to conceive, due to health reasons. So the 31-year-old Californian started on a low-dose fertility treatment — and it wasn't long before she and her husband Rene were expecting.
"We weren’t really sure if it would happen, so we would have been so happy if God gave us one,” Rene told the Turlock Journal.
Due to COVID-19 safety guidelines, Rene was not allowed to go to their first prenatal appointment. Tania was alone for her first ultrasound and felt nervous, to say the least.
After the appointment, Tania returned to the parking lot to meet back up with Rene and discuss what happened during the ultrasound.
She said they weren't having a baby after all.
Rene assumed the worst.
Then Tania dropped the bombshell that made her husband literally fall to his knees: They weren't having one baby — they were having four.
Smack dab in the middle of the pandemic.
And the surprises kept on coming …
