Multiple Palace Sources Say Prince Harry Found Out His Grandmother Died From The Internet

Prince Harry happened to be in Europe the day Queen Elizabeth died, and fortunately he was able to head to Scotland to be with his grandmother when news of her poor health broke. At the time, the official line was that Harry was notified of his grandmother's passing five minutes before the public was.

Now a royal source is claiming this isn't true, and that Harry found out his grandmother died from news reports online.

Page Six claims to have spoken to a "highly placed Buckingham Palace" source who told the publication that "no one from the royal family, or any courtiers, actually called Harry to tell him of the monarch’s death."

Another source noted that Harry and Meghan's behavior was impeccable despite this massive slight. They explained, "I think that how Harry and Meghan showed up in the past few days shows they were only hoping to do the right thing and right by everyone."

Previous reports had indicated that Harry heard about Elizabeth's death from his father roughly five minutes before the news was made public. At the time, a source explained, "Everybody was trying to get where they needed to be. That was the focus. And the King was adamant that the official statement must not be released until all members of the family had been informed. That was a father talking because he cares."

There is more about why Harry couldn't get to Balmoral on time in the video below.
