The world feels almost a part of the extended Windsor family with all of its ongoing drama. For a while, there was great speculation on whether or not Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle would attend King Charles’ coronation amid their estrangement. The answer is yes, at least Harry will, with Meghan opting to remain home in the US with their children, Archie and Lilibet. New details about Harry’s attendance are being reported by the US Sun.
The late Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, has claimed that Harry will be seated “10 rows behind” the royal family. He also said that Harry will not linger after the ceremony but will instead make a quick exit. This will hopefully help him avoid any awkward run-ins or small talk.
Although it will be nice to see the family at the same event, Paul does not believe this means there has been any forward movement toward mending relationships.
“There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I’m afraid — I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors,” he mused.
Paul speculates that Harry is attending to “show face. He is coming to put his foot in the door and he is coming because his father wants him to be there. His father will be delighted that both his sons will be there to witness this incredible day in his life.”

According to Paul, this does not mean Harry will linger. Paul believes that Harry will make a quick exit after the official ceremony.
“Harry is not going to hang around,” he predicted.
The coronation festivities will last three days. Harry is only expected to be at the official crowning ceremony. This means he will miss seeing Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Take That perform at the big concert.
Attending the coronation ceremony will mark the first time Harry has seen his family since his tell-all memoir Spare was released. Spare revealed many private family secrets that some royals did not want the public to know about. It is going to be interesting for Harry to navigate these waters, to say the least.
The US Sun previously cited a source claiming that Harry was eager to attend the coronation. The source said that Archie and Lilibet’s father was desperate to come back for the coronation and spend quality time with his family. One can only hope his attendance is a step in the right direction toward healing family relationships.
The coronation falls on Archie’s birthday. He is turning 4 years old on the same day his grandfather will be crowned king. Meghan is staying home with Archie and Lilibet to celebrate.
Some have speculated that Meghan is actually staying home because of letters exchanged between herself and Charles. In these letters, Meghan raised concerns about racism within the royal family. She admits the letters' validity but has denied the rumors about her holding a grudge against Charles. She is remaining home to celebrate her son.
