Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly trying to improve their relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. A royal expert told The Mirror that the Prince and Princess of Wales encouraged Harry and Meghan to bring their children with them when the visit the United Kingdom. The expert, royal author Tom Quinn, told the outlet that although William and Kate reportedly tried to contact the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan was not that interested.
"There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK. William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far," Tom told The Mirror.
Although William and Kate have allegedly reached out, it's not clear what their intentions are. Tom also told The Mirror that William and Kate are "really nervous" about Harry's travels to the UK.
Tom explained that if Harry visits the UK without seeing William and Kate, it could lead to "more damaging speculation." To "reduce all the inevitable awkwardness," they might arrange "a short meeting," Tom told the outlet.
Another source thinks that brothers William and Harry can still repair their relationship. King Charles' former butler, Grant Harrold, told the New York Post that "Harry will be in touch with Kate and William and offering his help."
However, he did add that "whether they accept it or not is a very different matter."
