There is a running debate in society about whether or not ex-romantic partners can maintain a friendship after the relationship has ended. It appears that Prince William and Rose Farquhar believe they can, as they both attended each other's weddings.
On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Prince William was among the guests at Rose’s wedding to George Gemmell at St. Mary the Virgin church in Gloucestershire, England. It does not appear that Kate Middleton was present.
Rose was William’s first serious girlfriend. The couple dated in the year 2000. The childhood friends reconnected at the Beaufort Polo Club right after William finished his studies and A-level exams at Eton College.
As it sometimes goes with first loves, their romance did not last long. Rose chose to pursue acting. She studied in New York City at the Lee Strasberg Institute. In 2016, she went on to compete on The Voice UK.
William looked dapper on the big day. He kept his attire simple and wore a classic black tux and bow tie. One never wants to upstage the bride, after all.
