Video Shows Princess Charlotte Bursting Into Tears At Key Moment During Queen’s Funeral

Princess Charlotte, 7, attended Queen Elizabeth's funeral alongside her older brother, Prince George, 9. The two children were remarkably stoic throughout the long day, particularly as they were mourning the loss of their beloved great-grandmother.

Video shared by Entertainment Tonight shows that at one point during the day, Princess Charlotte began to feel the weight of what was going on around her and began to cry.

After the memorial service, Queen Elizabeth's coffin was moved from gun carriage to a hearse vehicle. It was at this point that Charlotte was caught on film crying. Her mother stepped in to comfort her.

When Prince Philip passed away, a royal insider explained, "William told George, Charlotte and Louis that Prince Philip has ‘gone to heaven’ and ‘is an angel now.'" It's likely the royal three are receiving similar information about Queen Elizabeth.

Princess Charlotte looked particularly grown up at the funeral. She wore a hat to a royal event for the first time and accented her mourning coat with a horseshoe brooch given to her by Queen Elizabeth.
