Hollywood enthusiasts love to play a game called "Which celebrity offspring look the most like tiny replicas of their famous parents?" Reese Witherspoon and her 19-year-old daughter Ava Phillippe are currently in first place, but they're about to be ousted by Ryan Phillippe and his son Deacon Phillippe! Basically, Reese and Ryan's two children look like tiny versions of their parents!
If you remember, Reese and Ryan had a whirlwind love affair that began in 1997 and ended in 2006, but it produced two lovely children who are now their parents' literal clones.
For the longest time, the mini-me conversation revolved solely around Reese and Ava, but after Ryan shared a family pic on Instagram on September 10, 2018, the world realized that 14-year-old Deacon is turning into his father's double as well.
This is the photo with his children that Ryan uploaded that is currently breaking the internet. Deacon looks like a smaller version of his dad, and Ava looks like she could have been Reese's body double in Election.
Naturally, the comment section is blowing up. "Kid clones," wrote one fan.
"I see both you & Reese in Ava but Deacon is the image of you," wrote another stunned fan.
And because Ryan Phillippe doesn't appear to age at all, his son is going to catch up with him eventually. One day they'll look the exact same age.
For comparison, this is Ryan's first headshot. It's not clear how old he is here, but he's a dead ringer for his son.
Ava, on the other hand, is a miniature version of her mother. She could play a young Elle Woods if they ever decided to make a Legally Blonde prequel.

Not only do they look alike, but Reese and her daughter are especially close. Reese once wrote on her blog that she and Ava "can talk for hours" and that "they share every emotion with each other, our hopes, and dreams.”
"I think the way Ava and I are most alike is our strong opinions and our empathy. From the time that she could speak, Ava has always had her own ideas, and I love to watch her express herself," Reese added.
Ava has appeared in several campaigns for her mom's Draper James fashion label and admitted she inherited a little bit of her mom's fashion aesthetic.
"The best thing about how my mom has influenced my style is that, while I do take her advice, it’s still my own," Ava revealed in an interview on the Draper James blog. "She and I agree on a lot of what’s 'fashionable,' but we have different taste, and she’s really respectful of my personality as I express it through clothes."
While their faces are nearly identical, Ava's style is a tad more adventurous than her classically cool mom.
Ryan knows that the public thinks his kid is his clone, but he says the family doesn't think much of it.
"It may not be interesting to us, it's not something — we don't sit around talking about how much we look alike," he told Entertainment Tonight.
The resemblance IS uncanny.
In fact, Ryan doesn't really get the Ava and Reese comparisons either.
"I mean, it's weird, because isn't that obvious?" he said. "Who else are they going to look like, you know? I always find that such a weird thing, like, [Ava] looks exactly like her mother, who else is she going to look like? It's an odd thing that people fixate on that."
The mini-me comparisons are cute, but at the end of the day Ryan said it best: "I feel like saying, 'She has her own face.' Let her have her own face, you know."
