For Valentine's Day 2015, a single dad decided to celebrate by taking his six-year-old daughter out to dinner. They enjoyed a sweet daddy-daughter date at Old Spaghetti Factory, eating pasta, giggling, and telling stories.
After finishing their meal and going to pay, the unnamed father was handed a note scribbled on the back of their receipt.
As it turned out, a couple at nearby table had been watching him and his little girl the whole time.
This random couple wanted to share an act of kindness with the man and his daughter.
When you read what the couple wrote on the receipt, you'll understand why this doting dad started tearing up right at the the restaurant table.

The couple was also preparing to write them a personal note… and an unbelievable gesture of kindness.
After finishing their meal, Dad went to pay — but the server handed him a receipt with a note scribbled on the back.
