‘Six-Pack Mom’ Hits Back At Strangers Shaming Her For Wearing Skinny Jeans After Giving Birth

Sarah Stage first started gaining international attention in 2015 when she was pregnant with her first son.

Why exactly were people so fascinated by her pregnancy? Because throughout her entire nine months, Sarah never looked more than a few weeks pregnant.

Her flat stomach and fit body earned her the nickname "six-pack mom." So when she got pregnant with her second baby, people were immediately intrigued.

When her body did the same thing as her last pregnancy, critics started hitting her with horrible remarks, claiming she wasn't feeding her baby well enough, that she was putting him at risk, and more.

Sarah knew that her baby was perfectly healthy and safe — her doctors said everything was absolutely normal — and that she just carried differently than other women.

On October 16, 2017, this "six-pack mom" gave birth to her second child, Logan.

People immediately started shaming her for wearing skinny jeans on her way home from the hospital, so Sarah decided it was finally time to respond to her haters.

On October 18, four days after giving birth, Sarah Stage and her husband headed home with their new son.

Sarah shared a picture on Instagram holding her son in a wheelchair on the way to the car, but people seemed to only notice one thing: that she was already wearing skinny jeans.

People immediately started criticizing Sarah for wearing the tight jeans, but she wasn't having it anymore.

On October 24, she took to Instagram once more to explain her decision to wear jeans and to shut down the bullies once and for all.

If we aren’t at a doctors appointment then I’m usually in bed most of the day because my incision is still healing obviously!

I wear pads the size of [airplane emoji] and jeans/jeggings hold them in place (so kindly stfu if you’re going to judge a woman who just gave birth on just her outfit [kissy emoji]).

I even got messages of people getting mad about having my make up and hair done in my last post. My make up team consisted of just me being in a hospital bed with a mirror and an extra 10 minutes… but who cares?

Why can’t we look and feel good whenever we want? Whether ur wearing make up or not… you’re fabulous and it’s really no ones business.

Social media sometimes can give the illusion of a certain type of life (I’ve gotten messages saying wow it must be so easy you’re already up and about & I wish I could say that everything is back to normal but I’d be lying !)

You know that JUST LIKE YOU, I’m doing the best I can while having swollen boobs, pads in my nursing bra, [airplane emoji] pads granny panties, baby spit up on my shirt, crazy hormones, no sleep BUT it’s all worth it!!

Many women come home from the hospital wearing sweatpants or pajamas to stay comfortable, but if Sarah says jeans are the most comfy for her after giving birth, more power to her!

Luckily, lots of her fans made sure to comment with their support.
