Watching This Soldier Dad Surprise His Son Is Guaranteed To Make You Smile

Here at LittleThings, we love seeing families being reunited, especially when it's children and their parents together again. It's very touching to see military moms and dads come home, and to know how excited their kids are to see them for the first time in a very long time — sometimes after many months. These kids have very different ways of reacting to seeing a parent after such a long time. Check out how this little girl thought she recognized her military dad at first, but took a moment to realize that it really was him!

Here's another dad who decided to surprise his young son at the Paramount Charter Academy in Kalamazoo, and this little one didn't hesitate when he saw his daddy! The camera captures the dad walk into the classroom, and then shows the students playing a game. At first, you think that it's one of those kids whose father just entered, but if you keep an eye on the table on the far right, you'll see a chair move. From under the table emerges one of the students, who screams "Daddy!" The little boy runs into his father's arms, and they embrace.
