If I had to describe the guy in the video below, I would say that he is unequivocally a man of his word. Back in 2016, around the start of the NFL season, Nick Waltermire joked to his girlfriend, Sarah Moulton, that he would ask her to be his wife if their favorite team, the New England Patriots, won the Super Bowl. According to their friend Amanda Healy, this was said due to the Patriots' star quarterback Tom Brady being suspended for the first four games of the season.
Not many people gave the Patriots a chance.
Of course, the Super Bowl has come and gone, and lo and behold, the Patriots indeed won the championship!
In the video below, Nick, Sarah, and some friends are at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts to celebrate their team's victory.
Their photographer led them to a large stretch of grass with the Patriots' logo painted on it for the perfect couples' picture.
When someone else joined in to take a picture of them as well, the photographer quickly muttered "take a video."
Sarah didn't suspected anything the entire time, not even the fact that her boyfriend kept one hand in his sweater's pocket throughout the filming.
Then, once the "picture" was taken, Nick separated from his girlfriend and got down on one knee.
