Surrogate Mom Hasn’t Been Pregnant In 20 Years, Then She Finds Out She’s Carrying Her Grandchild

Due to some biological circumstances, some women aren't capable of carrying children, even with the help of science. They need surrogates to carry their babies, and it's hard to find one whom one can trust.

In the case of Kayla Jones, it was a tumor that prevented her from getting pregnant. When she was 17-years-old, doctors removed it, but it damaged her uterus. She and her husband needed a surrogate.

That's when her mother-in-law Patty Resecker stepped up to help. At 49-years-old, she is still able to carry children, and was more than happy to give birth to her own grandchild.

Then Patty, her son, and her daughter-in-law then went through the arduous process of implanting a fertilized egg and seeing if it would take. Unfortunately, the first time they tried, it did not.

The second time around, they got lucky: Patty took a pregnancy test, and it was positive!

It's been 20 years since Patty was last pregnant, but we're sure she remembers every step in a pregnancy. She couldn't be more proud to be the one to give birth to her own grandchild.

Although at this stage, the family is still unsure if they are expecting one baby or more!

The birth of this child (or children) is bound to bring the family even closer together.
