Marriage is not easy, even for celebrities. Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin recently went through a rough patch in their marriage that nearly ended in divorce. The couple decided to work through their issues instead.
Sylvester spoke out about this difficult time in an interview with The Sunday Times. He detailed the couple’s August 2022 split and their decision to remain married just a month later. "Let's just say that it was a very tumultuous time," he stated.
"There was a reawakening of what was more valuable than anything, which is my love for my family," Sylvester added. "It takes precedence over my work, and that was a hard lesson to learn."
Jennifer and Sylvester share three daughters, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20. Sylvester also had two sons during his marriage to actress Sasha Czack. This near divorce has been a wake-up call to spend more time with his family.
"I didn't pay enough attention when they were growing up. I was so career-oriented, and now I go, 'OK, I don't have that much runway up ahead, and I want to start asking them about their lives,'" Sylvester shared. He is now making up for lost time with his family.
