Getting a $150 speeding ticket does not normally cause people to write a Thank You note to the police, but in the case of one Seattle woman, it did. While on vacation with two of her grandchildren, her foot got a little heavy on the pedal trying to get to Yellowstone. Hey, it happens to all of us, right?
But when an Idaho State Patrol officer pulled her over for going almost 20mph over on a lonely highway, she did NOT have the reaction I would expect. The officer was so sweet to the grandchildren, and made the whole experience of getting a speeding ticket so stress-free that she actually included a personal thank you note to the officer when she paid her fine. I bet that's something that's never happened to that officer before, and probably won't ever happen again!
