Thomas Markle Jr. Slams Prince Harry For Family Drama And Not Being Invited To Wedding

You can't choose your family. If you could, Meghan Markle definitely wouldn't have chosen this group we keep hearing about.

Thomas Markle Jr., her half-brother, is the latest member of the Markle clan to speak out against the royal family. He makes a variety of claims in a new interview, reiterating that Meghan is acting "too good" for her siblings and her father, and that Prince Harry is largely to blame for the fissure between the two families.

If you've been keeping up with this saga, you know that Thomas Markle Sr., Meghan's father, is responsible for most of the drama we keep hearing about. He was busted trying to profit off the paparazzi before the royal wedding, and since then has continued to do explosive interviews that have only further expanded the divide.

But Thomas Jr. also did something pretty ridiculous in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and judging from the reactions to his new interview, the world isn't ready to forgive him for it. Check out the latest chapter in the insane Markle family story here:

It wouldn't be a week of royal family coverage if we didn't hear from the Markles.

Look how happy Meghan and Harry are — now imagine how much happier they'd be if they didn't have to deal with her difficult family on a daily basis.

Like we said, Thomas Sr. is the main offender in this saga, but Meghan's half-sister Samantha has also had some explosive moments in the past couple months.

And now Thomas Jr. is coming in hot, delivering fresh quotes to make the world groan.

Thomas Jr. did an interview with the Daily Mail, and he didn't hold back.

He starts with a little sister bashing: "It's not the Meghan I remember. The Meg I remember was very caring and she cared about everybody — that was important to her. Since Hollywood and being on that show — being a celebrity has changed her. Maybe she feels she is above everybody, maybe even more now."

Then he went off on Meghan's husband: "If she wasn't with Prince Harry right now — even if she was still on Suits right now — she would have stopped what she was doing to go and visit [our father] and make sure he's OK."

And the coup de grâce is when he complains about not getting invited to the royal wedding. "They have [brought outsiders in] before in the past like with the Middletons. I don't see why our family is any different. I think Uncle Gary and I would get along just fine. It would have been nice to at least get an invite to the wedding like he was," Thomas Jr. said.

The reactions to the interview are predictable.

Safe to say that the Markles lose more and more support on a daily basis.

It's widely suspected that the Markles are getting paid for these bombastic interviews.

Now we need to explain the "Uncle Gary" bit for those who don't remember…

"Uncle Gary" is Kate's uncle, who was still invited to her wedding to Prince William despite being convicted of domestic assault. Thomas Jr. is pointing this out as an example of the royal family being more lenient with… let's call them "disreputable" family members in the past.

But no one in royal family history ever did this:

Thomas Jr. addressed this letter to Prince Harry, telling him not to marry his sister. You can click through and read it all yourself — but it's dated just weeks before the royal wedding. He was honestly expecting an invite after that letter?

And none of this is to mention that he has an arrest record as well, for allegedly putting a gun to his girlfriend's head.

So people are not having any of Thomas Jr., to say the least.

Everyone on Twitter is more than willing to point out all the ways the Middeltons are different from the Markles.

Not that the Markles' attention-hoarding is likely to stop anytime soon.

As has become apparent over recent weeks, the royals are going to stay above the gossip columns and, hopefully, let the Markles slowly fade back into obscurity.

That's a sentiment we can all get behind!
