Tia Mowry And Cory Hardrict Come To A Divorce Settlement 6 Months After Separating

It is never an easy decision to end a marriage. Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict know this firsthand. The Sister, Sister and All American: Homecoming stars first announced their separation on Tia’s Instagram on October 4, 2022.

It now appears the divorce settlement is finalized. People magazine is in possession of court documents that spell out the terms. Tia and Cory "entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support." They will share legal and physical custody of their two children and have requested the court terminate spousal support, which was part of their premarital agreement.

Tia and Cory were married for 14 years before calling it quits. Their son, Cree, is 11 years old, and their daughter, Cairo, is 4. Tia vowed in her Instagram announcement to “maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children."

Tia is learning to be on her own for the first time in her life. Being a twin, she always had a built-in companion.

"I've always been next to someone," she mused to E! News. "I've always had my sister [Tamera Mowry-Housley], side-by-side next to me and this is kind of the first time that I've ever been by myself. And so, I'm just really learning about myself, loving on myself and being optimistic and positive. Life is short, so just focus on the positive."

Tia had wise words for anyone going through a breakup or divorce like her. "I would say just love yourself," she advised. "Self-love is the most important thing. Spend time with yourself, have grace with yourself."

For his part, Cory has been more reserved about the divorce and has not publicly commented on it. He did, however, shut down an Instagram comment that speculated he cheated by writing “lies.” To learn more about this former couple, watch this video.
