Little Girl Pleads With Her Divorced Parents To Be Friends Again

Sometimes the best advice can come from the tiniest of people.

As parents, we spend so much trying to teach our little ones the difference between right and wrong, and how to be a good person, yet many adults are often so quick to throw all of these "important things" away and act less mature than kids do. This can be especially true when couples are going through a divorce and tensions are extremely high. Couples can be way too quick to point fingers and seek revenge in the divorce process. It's not too common you find someone as gracious and tolerant as this ex-wife and mother.

If you're a parent and have been through this painful process yourself, you know that it's always most difficult on the children. After being taught to get along and be kind to everyone, it's so confusing and hurtful to see your family fall apart. While I'm sure Cherish Sherry and her ex-husband had good reason to call it quits, a video of her daughter Tiana shows that seeing her fight with her husband has really taken a toll.

In the video, which has been viewed more than 6 million times in just a few days, Tiana apparently interrupts her parents in a fight, pleading with them to try and be friends. "If I can be nice, I think all of us can be nice, too" Tiana pleads with her mom.

Although the video is slightly heartbreaking, this 6-year-old has a great attitude about divorce and Sherry has since told media outlets like Daily Mail that the lecture has been a real wake-up call.

What do you think of Tiana's message? Please SHARE this video with all of your friends on Facebook and let us know!
