Adventurous Toddler Learned To Climb Walls Before She Could Walk

Adventurous folk seem to have something extra daring added to their bloodstreams. Where I would see a large cliff and never dream of climbing my way to the top, the family in the video sees opportunity.

Zak and Rachael Farmer have been avid climbers long before little Ellie entered their world. In fact, Rachael continued following her passion for finding higher altitudes up until three days before the tyke was born. Clearly, the sweet girl could feel all the fun and excitement going on while still inside her mom's belly, because it did not take her long at all to join in! At just 8 months old, before she could even walk, Ellie started showing off her climbing talents, as she frequently escaped from her crib at night, and eventually began testing her strength with the walls of her room.

Seeing someone so young take to an amazing hobby like this so naturally reminds me of the 3-year-old who stunned Ellen with her gymnastic skills, but Ellie is still just 2 years old as she continues scaling new heights. Mom and Dad are, of course, thrilled that Ellie is following in their fearless footsteps and bring her along with them to the gym, where she's all smiles as she scrambles up the walls without a harness.

Others have expressed concern that the parents would allow Ellie to do something that appears so dangerous, but they are always right by her side to catch her if need be. In fact, they say her biggest boo-boo to date occurred while she was walking on a perfectly flat sidewalk.
