Although it's not totally necessary to have your kid's approval before making big decisions, it is nice to know that they are on board when you do.
Whether you are moving to a new home, moving them to a new school, getting a new pet or making another addition to the family, you want to know that your children are happy.
Typically, it's best to get their opinion on any big new change ahead of time, rather than to surprise them with the news when it's too late, but every once in a while, a big surprise can get a great reaction, like the one we saw when one little boy's mom surprised him with a new puppy.
But sometimes, it takes a little convincing and patience to get the response you're looking for.
When the Worrell's decided they wanted to add to their family, they decided to check with their tot Ryan first.
After getting back a bunch of no's when asking Ryan if he wanted a little brother or a little sister, they finally got the answer they had been hoping for… a big smiley "YEAH"!
The hard work these parents put in convincing Ryan has definitely paid off because he couldn't be more excited when he got the news… and the best part is him asking to "see" the baby under Mom's shirt!
