When you think of places to hold a wedding, you're probably imagining churches, fancy hotels, or maybe a backyard bash under a pretty tent or a beach wedding on a tropical shore.
Weddings are all about love, celebration, and family, and they're reflections of the two people getting married, their story, their memories, and their hopes and dreams for the future.
Some like to uphold their families' values and traditions with a classic wedding, while others, like the couple who donned scuba gear instead of a dress and tuxedo, like to forge new paths with something totally new and unexpected.
And sometimes, a couple just wants to pay homage to what's really important. For two couples, LaKisha and Brently and Jonathan and Amy, that means waffles.
These two couples both wanted to bring one of their favorite foods into their special days.
The couples are both from Georgia, but, to our knowledge, don't know one another and married years apart. But apparently, they both love waffles from Waffle House, so maybe they should get to know each other!
Check out the two Waffle House weddings below. It seems like waffles and love might just be connected!

After a classic ceremony and reception in Georgia, newlywed couple LaKisha and Brently did something a little different when it came to refreshments — and, as you can see from this photo by CWF Photography, it came with some interesting headgear.
It was a Waffle House food truck!
It looks like LaKisha approves.
The couple even did their own, waffle version of the classic cake-eating photo.
Because after all, why have a cake when you can have a delicious waffle?
It's important to share a special dish. And since Waffle House offers waffles anytime, there's no need to save one for a year. They can get a little wedding memory every time they stop by.
Guests lined up at the food truck to order, and even got their own paper hats.
Fresh waffles made to order? Beats steam table trays and buffet lines anytime.
Brently, LaKisha, and Waffle House: truly a love story for the ages.
And the best part about a food truck? Far less cleanup!
LaKisha and Brently weren't the first couple to bring Waffle House into their special day, though. Years prior, Amy and Jonathan stopped at a Waffle House following their Roswell, Georgia reception.
Jonathan's photographer and friend, Tim Harman, was there to capture their first married date at Waffle House.
They even had kind of a waffley cake. This one was made using Diet Coke, which is Jonathan's favorite soda.
Diet Coke came to the party, too.
Waffle House actually has a special significance to this couple beyond just tasty tasty waffles. Their very first date ended at a Waffle House, so they wanted their wedding to end at one, too.
Today, Jonathan manages a Waffle House. It looks like for this couple, waffles really are life.
While Waffle House might not be the first thing you think of when you think of wedding fare, these couples proved that it doesn't have to be fancy to be meaningful, touching, and memorable. And a whole lot of fun!
