Five Young Girls Ask Their Parents For A Pet Bunny In This Hilarious Letter

One of the amazing things about children is that you never know what they are going to say or do.

Because they don't possess the same filters that adults do, they are quite often unintentionally hilarious, like these children who wrote extremely honest letters to Santa.

And when I spotted this letter that five extremely young girls wrote to their parents asking for a new pet, I couldn't keep myself from laughing out loud.

Nadia Quinn grew up in the Wahhab household as the eldest of five daughters. Ever the responsible  and hilarious  one, Nadia took it upon herself to spearhead a very "professional" letter to her parents requesting "the privilege of trying another pet. A bunny."

Scroll through below to read this letter that is simultaneously adorable and hysterical. These funny words are quite literally "out of the mouths of babes."

Eldest daughter, Nadia, posted this letter online, which is dated July 14, 1993:

"Dearest Mother and Father,

Your 5 daughters would like you to thoughtfully and openmindedly think about the following; we would like the privilege of trying another pet. A bunny.

The bunny (Holland LopEared) does not get any bigger than 3 and 1/2 lbs. fully grown. They are gentle, 'fun' animals that do not bite. They don't make noise (scratching, barking, whimpering, etc.) and do not smell.

They use a wire cage, which costs $25 at Farm & Fleet. They also can (and almost 100% already can when you buy them for $15) be trained to 'go' in a litter box ($3 or 4). Their cages are easy to clean and food is not expensive.

They are the perfect pet. The below is signed agreements by 4 3 of your daughters and Kate."

Nadia kicks off the "signed agreements":

"I Nadia promise to clean the rabbit cage every other week (a chart will be posted), supply food every day, and play with bunny every day."

Middle sisters Audra and Noelle go on to agree to help out as well.

Second youngest daughter, Grace, hilariously adds her very best ABCs to the agreement:

"I Grace promise to pet the bunny and hold it once in awhile when my sisters give him to me."

Noticeably missing is the final Wahhab daughter, Ameara. Nadia, however, explains on Facebook, "I think Ameara was like… 6 months old."

The final signature belongs to Kate  a friend and neighbor  who agrees "to take care of the bunny when the Wahhab family isn't home if I can."

The letter has one final postscript:

"You may pull out this paper at any time if you feel the agreement has not been followed through. You may also take the bunny back at any time."

Accompanying this childhood letter, Nadia posted the Facebook status, "I guess I'm surprised we didn't get that bunny/I didn't become a lawyer."

This adorable and hilarious letter just goes to show the lengths children are willing to go to get a furry new pet.
