A flight attendant on a Southwest Airlines plane traveling from Baltimore, Maryland, to San Diego, California, made a stunning announcement: "Alright ladies and gentlemen, we're about to have a wedding here on Southwest Airlines."
Now that is definitely not something you hear on every flight!
A couple on the flight, Bonnie and Dennis, was celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They were en route to their second honeymoon, in Hawaii.
The flight attendants caught wind of their anniversary, and decided to throw them a special ceremony on the plane.
"We have our bride back here. She's going to walk down the aisle to her husband of 40 years."
Of course, being on a plane, there wasn't much space or many materials available, but the flight crew managed to pull off a pretty creative ceremony.
First off, they decked Bonnie out in wedding attire, including a veil made from something borrowed: toilet paper.
Dennis was waiting at the front of the plane for his wife to walk down the aisle.
A bridal bouquet was placed into a coffee cup, and soon enough, Bonnie was ready.
As she made her way down the aisle, passengers around the plane took their phones out to record, providing cheers and applause.
Watch the video below. This is one flight I'm sure Bonnie and Dennis will never forget!
