Realizing your dog has gone missing is one of the worst feelings in the world. When Stacey Perriman's mom realized her beloved dog Abby had run away, she searched everywhere. After a few weeks, she'd given up all hope of the dog returning home.
The woman's family had continued to share "lost dog" notices all over their social media accounts, until finally, someone responded. Abby had been found!
"Using social media, someone notified us they had found her, so we surprised Mom the day before Mother's day," Stacey wrote in the below video's caption.
In the clip, the family tells Mom they have a surprise for her. When she sees her dog, she loses it! She definitely didn't see that one coming.
"Where did you find her?" the mom asks her family as tears stream down her face.
She is overcome with joy and excitement, reaching her arms out to hold the dog in her arms, and the ecstatic pooch showers Mom with kisses during their emotional reunion.
"This was such a sweet reunion. We all cried! I hope you like it for all you dog lovers out there!" Stacey wrote.
