College Kids Discover The 11-Year-Old In Their Classes Is Actually Another Student

In the course of our education, there seems to be a logical progression we're all meant to follow: as we get older, we learn more complex theories and ideas. Each year we advance is meant to reflect the learning curve of the average individual. Everyone of a similar age is believed to the have the same capacity for acquiring new knowledge.

But we also have to acknowledge that there is no hard and fast rule on learning. Some kids learn much quicker than others.

Much, much quicker.

Meet 11-year-old Daniel Liu, for example. He may look like the average kid, but he's actually a genius.

Why? Because he's currently enrolled in classes at the University of Toledo, where he appears to be a campus-wide celebrity.

Liu is also the recipient of several awards in science, including the top prize in the Chemical Education Foundation’s “You Be the Chemist” competition, and has met famed scientist Bill Nye!

The kicker? He's even offered to help his classmates in his science classes, if they need his assistance.

Can you believe he's only 11?
