Man Places Ordinary Glass Mug Upside Down To Turn Solid Block Of Butter Into Smooth Spread

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, a wholesome meal can quickly turn sour when your stick of butter just won't spread. Hard butter makes toast and bagel breakfasts nearly impossible, but there is a way to avoid this breakfast blunder!

In the video below, posted on May 18, 2016, a man prepares to act out an incredible hard-butter hack. He nudges his knife into a stick of butter to show just how solid and unspreadable it is. Next, he grabs the key instrument necessary for this breakfast hack.

He picks up an ordinary clear glass mug and holds it up to the camera. He starts pouring scalding hot water into the mug, still raising it in the air.

He lets the temperature set into the glass for a little bit, then proceeds to pour the water out into the sink.

After that, he gently touches the side of the mug to make sure it's not too hot for the hack. He flips the glassware upside down and places it on the black plate that's sitting on his counter.

Now, the mug is encapsulating the hard stick of butter. The man waits one minute for the heat from the mug to transfer over to the stick of butter below.
