This Vacation Rental Is A One-Of-A-Kind Experience With An Amazing Deck

Tiny houses have all kinds of personalities.

Some are stationary and nestled deep in the woods like a squirrel, others float on water like a pelican waiting for its next catch, but the very best type of tiny houses is the kind that has a sweet set of wheels.

Tiny-houses-on-the-go can look like ordinary, dwarf-sized dwellings, just with wheels. But when someone takes an old Airstream, Winnebago, bus, or an old unwanted van and restores it to its former glory with some modern updates — that’s when you get something truly special.

In September 2011 Yvonne and Gary, the co-founders of the blog My Cool Holiday, decided to renovate an old clunker from the 1970s that had sat untouched and for nearly a decade. The two poured a whole lot of love into this restoration and their efforts definitely paid off.

What’s even cooler is that their beautiful creation can be rented for the night, only drawback is that you have to book a flight to England. But, hey, who wouldn’t want to holiday in something this splendid?

The designing duo from My Cool Holiday decided to use a horse lorry built in 1975 that had been neglected for nearly 10 years as their muse.

They loving named the truck “Ges” and made her into a beautiful glamping (glamour and camping) “home away from home.”

Ges is located just outside the charming village of Chiddingfold, England near the West Sussex and Surrey countryside. It can home up to two adults and two children.

The interior has a vintage style and is the perfect getaway for those who want to experience a tiny house lifestyle but are not quite ready to commit.

The camper has a wood burning stove, a king-size bed, and a couch with a pullout bed.

Cooking facilities are also available complete with a welcome basket packed with a combination of seasonal home grown or local produce, eggs from the couple’s hens, and locally made goodies.

It has tons of unique little details, like this stain-glass window replica of Ges.

Not to mention this cute, little deck with a nice, big view.

Next to Ges is “Baby Ges,” an adorable 1970s horse trailer, which acts as a bathroom.
