When this DIYer was doing some spring cleaning, she came across something exciting in her basement: two medicine cabinets from the 1940s!
Despite being a little rough around the edges, they were still in great shape. You can even see the used razor slots on the inside of the cabinets.
To get started, she first removed all of the paint.
She then painted the cabinets with primer.
She also used primer on four table. These were essential for the cabinets' transformation.
After everything was primed, she painted the legs a bright sunshine yellow.
The medicine cabinets also got a bright yellow coat.
The bright color brought some of the mirrors' vintage details to life, like this beautiful etching.
Next, she attached the legs to the back of the medicine cabinet.
Thus, her bright and unique side tables were born!
The cabinets' shelving provides dividers within, perfect for bedside storage.
Not only are they full of character and pizazz, but they also put some once-forgotten antiques to good use.
