350 Musicians Met For The Very First Time – What Happened BLEW Me Away!

What happens when 350 musicians meet each other for the very first time and attempt to play a brand new song they all just learned? That's what the folks at NPR Music wanted to know. During Make Music New York–a one day festival celebrating the summer solstice–they invited musicians from all around to learn a new piece and show up to play together. Over 350 musicians came.

From student marching bands to neighborhood music teachers to starving artists and everything in between, this has to be the most diverse band of all time. That's what's so incredible about music… the way it brings us all together no matter what our background is. At 6:40, this gets GREAT!
