In Bangladesh, this amazing boy, Belal, jumped into a river to save a baby deer separated from its family. Onlookers weren’t sure if Belal would survive and watched anxiously. In Noakhali, Bangladesh they lose deer every year from flooding and this poor fawn was separated from his family.

Belal carried the deer above his head, risking his own life, in a surging river.
Everyone was so relieved when he emerged from the river with the fawn, that they cheered his heroic efforts! We think Belal is a true hero – don’t you?
Finally, Belal returned the deer to dry land and his family.
