Only a couple of years before this unbelievable audition on Britain's Got Talent, tragedy struck when she was diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. She tried desperately to remember how to do things, but it seemed impossible — and it was difficult to stay optimistic.
There's no doubt in the world that Aliki's passion for music helped pull her through the darkness and saved her life: After her Mom played familiar tunes for her, Aliki started to remember their lyrics and eventually made an unbelievable recovery. Her voice and courage are both amazing and inspirational.
Her story just proves that the human spirit can withstand almost anything!
