"You would take a bullet for the man next to you in a war zone, but what would you do for him when you came home?" It's a thought that's driven on anonymous soldier to do something most people would consider unthinkable. She's donating 60% of her liver to a person she's never even met.
She doesn't want accolades (she refuses to let her face be shown or tell her name) and she doesn't even want to meet or know the name of the man whose life she's saving. Her only criteria: he's a veteran. The reason she's doing it is simply beautiful, and warmed my heart so much. THIS is what's great about our armed forces: not just what they do to protect our country, but how far they'll go to serve each other.
