One thing many people don't know about elephants' trunks is that they have an amazing sense of smell. Amazing meaning FOUR times stronger than the average Bloodhound. Elephants can even smell water from miles away, which can often save their lives! At birth, their trunks are tiny and then grow over the next few days.
The moment a baby elephant discovers how to use their trunks changes everything! The little guy in this video is trying his best to get it, but it hasn't quite happened yet. I honestly thought I died from cuteness watching this video. Seriously… what is more adorable than this tiny elephant?!
