Baby Panda Spends Its First Day In The Snow And Has SO MUCH FUN!!

Just by looking at her, you might not think that giant panda Bao Bao is just a baby, but the adorable panda cub is only a mere sixteen months old!

Bao Bao, who resides at the Smithsonian's National Zoological Park (also known as the National Zoo), got her first taste of the snow today as the fluffy, white stuff blanketed her outdoor enclosure during the year's first solid snowfall.

Unfortunately, the zoo was closed due to the weather, so tourists in the Washington, D.C. area weren't able to see the playful panda frolic in person, but thanks to the ingenious staff at the National Zoo, we can now all delight in watching a baby panda acquaint herself with snow for the very first time.

In this awesome, minute-long video Bao Bao has a ball by tumbling down a hill, climbing snow-covered trees, and pouncing on her mother Mei Xiang. What a fun day for a baby panda!

Some of the other animals got in on the snowy action action as well (which you can see in the zoo's great photos) but, in our opinion, there's nothing quite like watching a 16-month-old giant panda experience the joy of wintry weather for the very first time.
