Billy Ray Cyrus has filed for divorce from Firerose. Their date of separation was listed as May 22, 2024, and he cited irreconcilable differences and "inappropriate marital conduct." Additionally, Billy Ray is seeking an annulment due to alleged fraud, reported TMZ. Billy Ray, 62, and Firerose, 37, got married in October 2023, having dated since 2022 — the same year that Billy Ray and his former wife, Tish Cyrus, got divorced. Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, is an Australian musician. In April, she posted on Instagram to celebrate their six-month wedding anniversary.
"6 months ago I married this man. Life isn’t always easy… but it sure helps when your husband’s also your best friend. Thank you Lord! " she wrote on Instagram on April 12.
As of June 11, Firerose and Billy Ray no longer follow each other on Instagram.
Up until May, Billy Ray posted many photos with Firerose on Instagram. The last time they shared photos of each other on the platform was at the end of April.
On April 19, Billy Ray shared a photo of himself with Firerose and captioned it with, "So much to be grateful for."
