Lucky is a beautiful elephant who was used as a prop in the circus, performing shows in Surin. She is completely blind due to the bright spotlights used during the nighttime shows. This video shows Lucky on her long car ride to freedom, where she's now roaming free! When she was swayed her trunk in the air while the car was driving, I couldn't help but smile — and those first steps she takes out of the truck and into her new life brought a tear to my eye.
This is such a beautiful video and story! Lucky has made many new friends at Elephant Nature Park in Mae Tang, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and she never has to work again.
