Imagine you're having lunch in the mall, when suddenly, a man drops down to one knee and proposes to his girlfriend. Now, imagine if that man was blind, and the girlfriend fled the scene the moment she realized what was happening — leaving the man on his knee, mid-proposal and without a clue? Tom Mabe, famous Internet prankster, tested out this social experiment at the local mall, and the results are interesting to say the least.
Some people stand in complete shock, leaving Tom in a fog of humiliation. It's incredibly awkward when no one comes to his aid to tell him his girlfriend left the room. But towards the end of the video, we meet a handful of kindhearted people who not only alert Tom to what's going on, but they also work to lend him a helping him in whatever way they can.
Mabe ends the video by saying, "With all the tragedy, hate, terror and constant bad news, it's good to be reminded there's still good people in the world." I couldn't agree more!
