Twelve-year-old Ryan has been drawing since he was 2 years old. Ryan has autism, and his service dog, Zeus, has become his best friend and security blanket. Zeus lowers his anxiety and prevents his meltdowns.
Recently, Zeus has fallen ill. The 12-year-old German shepherd was diagnosed with a type of lupus, and now he spends a lot of his time in the ICU. To make matters worse, his medical bills are racking up and costing Ryan's family thousands of dollars.
Ryan's mom, Twyla, considers Zeus a key member of their family and an important lifeline to their son. When Ryan said he wanted to sell his art in order to help pay for Zeus' medical bills, she was happy to show her support. So she posted a Craigslist ad to help Ryan sell his art.

Ryan is 12 years old and he has autism. His service dog, Zeus, is a German shepherd who acts as Ryan's security blanket.
This faithful furry companion does a wonderful job in helping to lower Ryan's anxiety.

Zeus, also 12, suffers from lupus. His medical expenses are costly, but Ryan and his family are willing to do whatever it takes to get Zeus the treatment he needs.
Ryan has been drawing since he was 2 years old, and he's a talented artist. Recently, Ryan had a brilliant idea…

To earn money that would help pay for Zeus' medical bills, Ryan set up an art studio in his parent's shoe store. Every single day, Ryan is there drawing, painting, and creating his original artwork.
Ryan's mom, Twyla, decided to set up an online shop so people can buy her son's art to help him pay for Zeus' vet care. There are many pieces on display — each one bright, colorful and joyful — with prices that range from 25 cents to $70.
Incredibly, Ryan has already raised a few hundred dollars.

In her Craigslist post, Twyla writes: "The artist and his dog are present in the store from noon to 6 PM Monday through Friday. They both enjoy visitors and would love to meet you as you browse Ryan's creations."
We hope Zeus gets better soon and that Ryan raises all the money he can for his four-legged friend. Please SHARE this touching story with your friends on Facebook!
